Breanna Shanque, M.S.W, Student

Breanna is a Masters of Social Work Student at the University of British Columbia and has recently completed the academic portion of her Masters degree.  She holds an Honours Bachelors of Social Work from Western University in London, Ontario with a Major in Thanatology (the study of death, dying and Bereavement). Prior to that, Breanna attended Loyalist College in Belleville, ON and completed the Social Service Worker Diploma program.

Her professional experiences include working with various age groups in both government and

community agencies. Some of these include hospices, child welfare, Brain Tumour Foundation

of Canada, and a pregnancy and family care center.

Breanna will be observing individual, couples, and group counselling sessions under

practicum supervisor Lauren Gaudet.
