Christina Postnikoff, BSW, RSW, MSW Candidate

Christina (she/her/hers) is a Master of Social Work graduate student at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan Campus. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Thompson Rivers University and an Advanced Diploma in Gerontology from Selkirk College. She is a member in good standing of the British Columbia College of Social Work (BCCSW). Christina has spent the last five years working with Interior Health, providing support and resources to individuals and families within hospitals, senior care facilities and mental health and substance use outreach.

Christina is a compassionate and caring social worker, who believes that we all deserve to be heard. Her goal is to create a safe space where clients can share their thoughts, feelings and experiences in a non-judgmental environment. Christina uses an integrative approach in her social work practice, by drawing on modalities such as: Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She embraces a strengths-based approach and is passionate about assisting her clients to identify their resilience to work through challenges. Christina welcomes the opportunity to journey alongside you with your mental health needs.
