Lisa Butcher, MACP, RRT, BPEH

Individual, Couples, and Group Counsellor

Lisa is joining Okanagan Clinical Counselling in September 2018 as a Graduate Student Counsellor.  She recently completed her academic coursework for the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) at Yorkville University in New Brunswick.  She will be working with us under the supervision of Lauren Gaudet, MSW.

For over ten years, Lisa has worked in front-line healthcare as a Respiratory Therapist treating the physical needs of children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.  It was through the physical response to her patients that Lisa discovered a passion for understanding and treating the emotional needs of these individuals and their families.  Lisa is a nurturer with a love of communication.  She believes trust and respect between the client and therapist are integral to the success of the psychotherapy.
