Sarah Hunter, BA Psych, MACP

Sarah (she/her) is a Master’s student in Counselling Psychology and holds a degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia. She has a special interest in young adults and teens. Her caring, calm, and encouraging approach fosters a safe, nonjudgmental, empathetic environment where her clients can openly explore themselves; past, present, and future.

Through a wholeheartedly human-centred lens, Sarah has a working knowledge of various therapeutic frameworks including Compassion-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. Her therapy is integrative, trauma-informed, and she brings a robust understanding of Attachment Theory. Always research-based, she works to stay on trend and current, but she trusts your intuition. Her goal is to support you on your journey, infuse your experience with bravery, and equip you for your future.

Outside of the office, Sarah is proudly Archie’s sidekick (her Labradoodle) and a big baseball fan; she loves to stay active, dance, scope out new coffee shops, travel and adventure, bake treats, watch Jeopardy, re-watch Bob Ross, and curate Spotify playlists. She has also been caught singing poorly in her car from time to time.
