He takes a client-centered approach, focusing on relational, experiential, trauma, and neurofeedback therapy to create meaningful connections and foster empowerment in the therapeutic process.
With extensive training in diverse therapeutic modalities, Scott tailors his approach to meet the unique needs of his clients. With years of experience working alongside Indigenous clients, Scott integrates cultural awareness, sensitivity, and respect into the therapeutic process, ensuring his approach honors their unique perspectives and experiences. He specializes in trauma counselling, Autism, anxiety, depression, PTSD, neurofeedback/biofeedback, and addictions, drawing on over 15 years of experience in addiction recovery.
Scott’s collaborative nature, direct communication style, and sense of humor help build strong therapeutic alliances. By guiding clients to explore their thoughts and emotions, he empowers them to take meaningful steps toward personal growth and lasting change.
Outside of his practice, Scott enjoys canoeing, writing, history, philosophy, astronomy, and spending time with his grandchildren. He also serves as chair of Excel Martial Arts Inc.
