Sadaf is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#22302) who holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Integral to her counselling approach is viewing the world and situations through the client’s perspective, as she has a deep understanding of the concept of biological, psychological, social, and cultural factors shaping people’s unique outlook on life.
Consequently, Sadaf tailors her work to each client’s individuality and does not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Through her global exposure as a person coming from a multicultural background who has lived in both individualistic and collectivist cultures (Afghanistan, Germany, Canada), as well as through her past work with diverse clients, she firmly believes in the significance of open-mindedness, empathy, and non-judgment. She is committed to making the client feel comfortable in the counselling process through her compassionate and relaxed approach.
Sadaf primarily integrates humanistic modalities in her work, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and dialectic behavioural therapy (DBT). However, she also draws from other methodologies depending on the situation, such as strength-based therapy and Adlerian therapy. She applies the existential lens throughout her work, drawing attention to the constructs of meaning and purpose and their applications in the client’s life. She works with adult clients (19+) of all ages. As a mother to a four-year-old boy, she also has a particular interest in perinatal/motherhood mental health concerns.

Emily is a dedicated and passionate teacher, and is now a Registered Clinical Counsellor. She has been an educator for five years in learning support and inclusive education. Over the past two years, she has worked as an elementary school counsellor throughout her practicum and internship in her master’s program.
Emily takes a trauma-informed,person-centred, and solution-focused approach believing that we all have the inherent ability to find the strength and resiliency within ourselves for growth and change. Emily’s empathy, care, and presence allow clients to feel safe, seen, and heard.
She is particularly passionate about child advocacy, building confidence, self-worth and social skills and working with the LGBTQ2SI+ community. She is experienced in supporting families and children with navigating school challenges such as social and emotional regulation, separation anxiety, academic strategies for learning, Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and teacher and school staff collaboration.
AS a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Emily is well-informed in the areas of anxiety, depression, attention difficulties, neurodivergence, child abuse, and trauma. Emily acknowledges that she lives, works, and learns on the traditional, unceded, and occupied territories of the Syilx/Okanagan people.
Andrew is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. He aims to provide a warm, accepting and calm space for clients to mindfully explore their challenges with life in a secure, non-judgemental environment. Andrew feels a calling to help people journey through life in a way that alleviates burdens and reduces the sense of isolation. Using a systemic approach known as Internal Family Systems that connects you to different parts of yourself in order to feel whole, loved and accepted, we can work together to change your relationship with your own emotions, and connect to a more balanced, healing perspective.
Andrew also incorporates a mindfulness approach. Increasing awareness of one’s own behavioural patterns can be a driver of personal transformation. Canadian Certified Counsellor - Nelson & Castlegar
Molly completed her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, supporting youth, couples, families and adults with diverse needs and abilities. She works from a trauma-informed perspective, using both somatic and cognitive behavioural modalities to help her clients to move forward at their own pace. In addition to working with the diverse populations that Molly serves, she also works with children as young as 10 years old. With a keen interest in the principle of neuroplasticity, she provides non-judgmental support to those who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, injury, violence, loss, anger, or navigating the demands of parenting. Molly has completed her first certificate in Somatic Experiencing, and will begin training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy in the winter.
Aman holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of British Columbia in the Okanagan, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of the Fraser Valley. Currently, he is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and is also a Registered Social Worker (RSW). Aman has extensive experience in the fields of mental health and developmental disabilities, having previously worked as a community support worker and as a vocational counsellor.
Aman uses an integrative and holistic approach to counselling, centered on Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Grief Counselling, Narrative Therapy, Family Therapy and Systems Theory. A firm believer of the phrase “being hopelessly inquisitive,” Aman subscribes to the idea that there will always be room to learn, grow and challenge oneself, especially in the pursuit for knowledge and an enhanced sense of well-being.
As an Indo-Canadian born and raised in the lower mainland, Aman believes in providing culturally competent care and is committed to unpacking long-standing cultural stigmas surrounding mental health, interpersonal relationships and intergenerational trauma. Chanelle (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of British Columbia. She is passionate about helping her clients achieve greater self-awareness and personal growth. With seven years of experience in social services, Chanelle supports individuals through life transitions, loss, and other challenges, always approaching each person with curiosity, compassion, and sincerity.
In her holistic, strengths-based, and person-centered practice, Chanelle recognizes her clients as the true experts of their own lives. She integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to create a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive approach that meets clients where they are.
Chanelle has extensive experience supporting individuals and families through disordered eating, anxiety, and depression. She also specializes in helping clients navigate grief, offering a safe space to process loss and find pathways to healing. Additionally, she works with clients to build self-esteem, empowering them to recognize their inherent worth and develop a stronger sense of self.
Before pursuing her graduate studies and becoming a Registered Social Worker, Chanelle earned an honours bachelor’s degree in health sciences and a diploma in holistic nutrition. When she’s not working, you can find her singing karaoke, biking, cooking, playing volleyball, and trying out new activities.
Shannon brings 20+ years of experience in community-based, clinical, and healthcare settings. She provides compassionate, anti-oppressive, spiritually sensitive, culturally safe, and trauma-informed counselling for individuals, couples, and groups. She also has experience working with people from diverse walks of life including first responders in the military and RCMP.
Shannon moved to Vernon in 1999 and has enjoyed being an active member of the local community. After completing her undergraduate degree in Social Work at UBCO, Shannon served women, children, and the elderly fleeing intimate partner violence. During this time, she developed key community programs to support the needs of vulnerable persons. As a result, She founded a community-based non-profit organization and developed a sexual health and relationships curriculum for middle school students. After completing her graduate degree, Shannon worked in various acute care units including psychiatry.
Furthermore, as a trauma survivor herself, Shannon has great empathy and experience helping others find relief from the impacts of trauma. Utilizing trauma-informed Counselling, she feels honoured when people experiencing mental health challenges and intra-personal distress allow her to walk a part of their healing journey with them. Additionally, integrating a tailored approach for individualized care, she aims to create a non-judgmental, comfortable, yet somewhat challenging therapeutic space. Additionally, Shannon will help you explore places you feel ‘stuck’ and assist in letting go of ‘old’ thoughts, feelings and behaviours that no longer serve you.
Shannon specializes in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR therapy both virtually and in person. She also utilizes methodologies such as CBT, DBT, Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness-based interventions and more in your personalized therapy experience.
Shannon enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors in her ‘happy place’ with her dog walking or biking in the mountains and along our beautiful lakes and rivers. Spending quality time with her grandchildren is one of Shannon’s greatest joys.

Balroop achieved her Master of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, New Brunswick. The initiation of her career began to advocate the importance of mental health within all age groups. While working with children in a school setting, she achieved her Child and Youth Care certification from Sheridan College, Ontario.

Jenni (she/her/hers) is passionate about helping people grow in deeper understanding about themselves, whether in their relationships, sex life, or their mind. She will help reframe shame and transform it into self-compassion. She creates a safe space for LGBTQIA2S+ individuals and couples, as well as individuals in BDSM and ethical non-monogamous dynamics. Jenni creates a calm sanctuary where people can sort through the chaos of their lives or their mind, allowing them to discover what they truly want and need in their lives.
Jenni is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Prior to becoming a counsellor, Jenni worked as a Registered Nurse for ten years in a variety of areas including hospital, crisis support, clinical education, and mental health and addictions case management.

Olivia (she/her) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor holding a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and is a member in good standing with the Canadian Counselling Psychology Association and the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. Blaine (he/him/his) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor. with a Master of Arts in Applied Theology from Regent College in Vancouver, B.C. He has also completed undergraduate and graduate coursework in psychology and counselling at Kwantlen University and City University of Seattle. Since obtaining his MA he spent nearly four years working for Non-Governmental Organizations in both Haiti and the Central African Republic. Upon returning to Canada, Blaine spent eight years working as a behaviour consultant, supporting adults with intellectual differences, and their support teams. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Blaine is equipped to provide the best support to those in need.
Blaine believes it is the profound privilege and sacred duty of a counsellor to listen with reverence when engaging in the therapeutic process. He tends to take a solution-focused approach with an emphasis on behavioural interventions including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment, and Dialectic Behaviour Therapy. This hands-on experience provided her with a profound understanding of the human condition, particularly in the context of mental health. Later, Kelsey pursued her Masters at Yorkville University, enhancing her expertise in counselling.
Kelsey’s therapeutic approach is grounded in a holistic framework, drawing from her multifaceted background in medical health and nursing. Further, her ability to integrate these perspectives allows her to offer a comprehensive approach to healing and personal growth.

Mark is a Canadian Certified Counsellor and a Registered Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia. Mark earned his master’s degree from Portland State University. In particular, Mark’s counselling style draws on interpersonal neurobiology (IPNB), founded on clinical evidence supporting continuous brain growth. Moreover, he believes that positive changes can start by looking within ourselves. Consequently, Mark offers a non-judgmental and accepting space for you to discuss what’s present for you. He joined the staff of Edgewood Health Network, in Nanaimo, first as an inpatient counsellor for individual treatment, then a family counsellor in the Family Support programs. Jim now has twelve years of professional experience as a substance abuse counsellor. He is skilled as well in individual, couple, and group counselling. Glenn (he/they) holds a Masters of Counselling Psychology from City University in Vancouver. He is also a Registered Nurse and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.
Glenn has worked over 20 years in mental health and specialized services. Glenn’s areas of competence include working with individuals in the LGBTQIA community, depression, anxiety, anger and interpersonal violence. Having his Masters of Counselling Psychology and working for over two decades as a frontline registered nurse, social worker and clinical counsellor in health care, Glenn has an interest in working with individuals in the health care field.

Coming from a business background, Megan made the difficult decision to leave her 13-year corporate career to pursue a master’s degree in counselling. She also works as a business and family consultant, helping families, individuals and entrepreneurs clarify values and direction.
As a therapist, Megan tailors her approach to the client’s needs and goals. She draws from a variety of evidence-based therapies including dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and emotionally focussed therapy (EFT). Amy is our Kootenay Community Support and moved to the Kootenays from England half a decade ago. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and working in retail management, Amy decided to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a primary school teacher. The blend of experience in retail management and elementary school teaching, have both shaped her ability to create a warm, safe and supportive environment for our clients. Amy’s background in retail management has honed her organizational and communication skills. Her experience as an elementary school teacher has enhanced her empathy, patience, and ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Daniel is currently completing his Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MA) from Yorkville University and is a Practicum Student at OKTG. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in multidisciplinary Social Sciences from Trinity Western University. Daniel also has a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from the University of British Columbia. In addition to working as a counselling intern, Daniel is a public school teacher specializing in special/inclusive education, elementary learning assistance and school-based case management. This includes the support of children who have been designated by the BC Ministry of Education as living and learning with exceptionalities.
Daniel has been married for 32 years. Together with his wife, has raised five children ranging in age from 16-27. Nelson has been home for Daniel and his family for 20 years and considers it a privilege to support a diverse clientele that makes up this beautiful community.

Tami is a Registered Social Worker who has been working in the Okanagan in mental health-related positions since 2002 and is also currently a student completing her practicum in pursuit of a Master of Social Work degree through Dalhousie University. She has diverse experience with supporting people dealing with depression, learning to manage anxiety, experiencing crisis, as well as multiple other mental health concerns.
Tami believes in anti-oppressive, person-centered, strengths-based practice, and seeks to connect you with techniques and support that fit your unique situation. Tami understands the difficulty of finding the balance between caring for yourself as well as others. On a personal note, she is the parent of an adult child with Type 1 Diabetes, giving her a lived experience perspective with this condition, and a deep compassion for all people living with demanding chronic medical conditions and their loved ones.

Sarah is our Penticton Clinic Manager and recently made the move from Auckland, New Zealand to Penticton. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Psychology, Sarah has a keen interest in people, community, and culture. In her leisure time, Sarah enjoys literature and film. She believes these can be used as tools to advocate for mental health across a wide variety of platforms and can foster an inclusive culture around connecting with and understanding individuals from different paths of life. Previously from a financial administration role, Sarah has focused on building interpersonal skills and is a team player who always aims to foster positive discussions and to bring out the best in others. Her knowledge of sales etiquette and expertise in managing relationships is a great advantage in her role as Clinic Manager.

With years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Elaiza is excited to be part of a mission she believes in. With a lot to offer, she keeps herself open and adaptive to learn and support anyone looking for help. Elaiza’s passion for customer service makes her shine through her role and she is available to assist with any administrative needs or questions.

Outside of work, Elaiza has two adorable children whom she loves spending time with and raising. Nathan is our Community Relations Manager and focuses on building better mental health accessibility in the community.. He is an Okanagan local born and raised. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Counselling in 2016, Nathan has spent his vocational years working with charities, not-for-profits, and school districts in Kelowna, focusing on community development and fundraising. In his previous roles in the community, Nathan has seen the impact that a public-focused mental health service can have. Because of this, he is incredibly excited to be a part of the team at OCCS and make our counselling services known and accessible to all who need them.
Nathan can connect individuals, corporate teams and community organizations to help support everyone’s counselling needs. If you have any questions about connecting with our clinic for partnerships, referral systems, or other community relations-related questions, Nathan will be happy to meet with you. As one of the clinic managers, Nathan will also be happy to assist with any administrative questions or help with online bookings. Kailey has worked as the Billing Supervisor at OK Clinical. She brings with her a love for problem-solving and numbers. She is a local to Kelowna, BC, and has years of experience in both administrative and client-based work. Prior to OK Clinical, Kailey worked closely with individuals from various walks of life and assisted them around the community. From there she decided to further her knowledge of administrative work and Completed the Business Program at Okanagan College and now serves our team remotely for all of the OK Clinical locations.
As our Billing Supervisor, Kailey is happy to assist clients with any invoicing needs as well as direct billing to insurance companies. She works closely with our counsellors to ensure all external invoicing is complete and accurate.
Outside of work, Kailey is a mother to her beautiful boy along with a very energetic Australian Shepherd named Goji (yes, like the berry!). Her family loves getting outside during the warm summer months to soak in the rays of the Okanagan but sticks to the indoors once the temperature drops, and enjoys cozy activities like board games, knitting, and reading.
Jane boasts an impressive 45 years in the bookkeeping industry and as an accountant. She started at IGA Head Office, then shifted to private accounting services. Upon moving to the Kootenays in 2014, she established a home-based bookkeeping business. Okanagan Clinical Counselling Services was one of her first clients.
Her skills in organization and problem-solving have been crucial in building and managing various provincial funding programs and providing subsidies to clients with financial barriers. Additionally, her passion for numbers has made her an invaluable asset to the OK Clinical team.
Aside from her professional achievements, Jane is a proud mother of three, grandmother of seven, and soon-to-be great-grandmother. Family is important to her and she takes pride in her role as a loving and supportive parent and grandparent.

Nicole earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Fremantle, Australia, in 2012. Nicole is passionate about her work with children and families experiencing difficulties after divorce and separation. Carly has worked as an office administrator for nearly 15 years and completed her Medical Office Assistant in 2016. Though she took a break from working in the medical field she has continuously worked on growing her skillset. Specifically in customer service, these skills make sure that her customers always have the best experience possible. This is done though positive relationships and continued support. She brings to the office a calm and collected approach with a positive everyday is a new day attitude.
Carly is a loving mother and ‘bonus’ mom. She has lived in the Okanagan for 6 years and has always been passionate about mental health and addiction work. Carly has volunteered in the streets of Vernon and Kelowna handing out supplies to the people in need and continues to always help where she can. She has worked with persons with disabilities and acquired brain injuries and has always been passionate about advocating for people’s rights.

Sadaf is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#22302) who holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Consequently, Sadaf tailors her work to each client’s individuality and does not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Through her global exposure as a person coming from a multicultural background who has lived in both individualistic and collectivist cultures (Afghanistan, Germany, Canada), as well as through her past work with diverse clients, she firmly believes in the significance of open-mindedness, empathy, and non-judgment. Sadaf primarily integrates humanistic modalities in her work, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and dialectic behavioural therapy (DBT). Andrew is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Molly completed her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, supporting youth, couples, families and adults with diverse needs and abilities. She works from a trauma-informed perspective, using both somatic and cognitive behavioural modalities to help her clients to move forward at their own pace. In addition to working with the diverse populations that Molly serves, she also works with children as young as 10 years old. With a keen interest in the principle of neuroplasticity, she provides non-judgmental support to those who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, injury, violence, loss, anger, or navigating the demands of parenting. Molly has completed her first certificate in Somatic Experiencing, and will begin training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy in the winter.
Aman holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of British Columbia in the Okanagan, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of the Fraser Valley. Currently, he is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and is also a Registered Social Worker (RSW). Shannon brings 20+ years of experience in community-based, clinical, and healthcare settings. She provides compassionate, anti-oppressive, spiritually sensitive, culturally safe, and trauma-informed counselling for individuals, couples, and groups. She also has experience working with people from diverse walks of life including first responders in the military and RCMP.
Shannon moved to Vernon in 1999 and has enjoyed being an active member of the local community. After completing her undergraduate degree in Social Work at UBCO, Shannon served women, children, and the elderly fleeing intimate partner violence. During this time, she developed key community programs to support the needs of vulnerable persons. As a result, She founded a community-based non-profit organization and developed a sexual health and relationships curriculum for middle school students. After completing her graduate degree, Shannon worked in various acute care units including psychiatry.
Furthermore, as a trauma survivor herself, Shannon has great empathy and experience helping others find relief from the impacts of trauma. Utilizing trauma-informed Counselling, she feels honoured when people experiencing mental health challenges and intra-personal distress allow her to walk a part of their healing journey with them. Blaine (he/him/his) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor. with a Master of Arts in Applied Theology from Regent College in Vancouver, B.C. He has also completed undergraduate and graduate coursework in psychology and counselling at Kwantlen University and City University of Seattle. Since obtaining his MA he spent nearly four years working for Non-Governmental Organizations in both Haiti and the Central African Republic. Upon returning to Canada, Blaine spent eight years working as a behaviour consultant, supporting adults with intellectual differences, and their support teams. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Blaine is equipped to provide the best support to those in need.
Blaine believes it is the profound privilege and sacred duty of a counsellor to listen with reverence when engaging in the therapeutic process. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and working in retail management, Amy decided to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a primary school teacher. The blend of experience in retail management and elementary school teaching, have both shaped her ability to create a warm, safe and supportive environment for our clients. Amy’s background in retail management has honed her organizational and communication skills. Her experience as an elementary school teacher has enhanced her empathy, patience, and ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Zoe integrates mindfulness into her practice and has a particular interest in helping folks make and meet goals that align with both their needs and values.
Using a strengths-based, person-centered, trauma-informed approach, Zoe helps people to feel empowered to make changes in their life. She draws on many modalities depending on client needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strengths Theory, and Ecological Systems Theory. Zoe is also working on her Couples Therapy training through the Gottman Institute.
Her career so far has focused on supporting families in their early formation, from relationships to pregnancy and childbirth to parenting small children, and all the change and opportunity these stages bring. Zoe also recently has had experience working with folks in crisis, including addictions, recovery, and housing and job loss.
Zoe has an undergraduate degree in Human Ecology from the University of Alberta and has specialized training to support families in the perinatal period, including as a doula and childbirth educator. In her free time, she loves hiking, running, crafting, cooking, reading, and playing with her dog.

Daniel is currently completing his Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MA) from Yorkville University and is a Practicum Student at OKTG. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in multidisciplinary Social Sciences from Trinity Western University. Daniel also has a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from the University of British Columbia. In addition to working as a counselling intern, Daniel is a public school teacher specializing in special/inclusive education, elementary learning assistance and school-based case management. This includes the support of children who have been designated by the BC Ministry of Education as living and learning with exceptionalities.
Daniel has been married for 32 years. Together with his wife, has raised five children ranging in age from 16-27. Nelson has been home for Daniel and his family for 20 years and considers it a privilege to support a diverse clientele that makes up this beautiful community.
With an intuitive sense of empathy and evidence-based approaches, Daniel supports clients in their life journeys from a strength-based and person-centered approach. Emphasis is on building and maintaining collaborative therapeutic relationships designed to bring about healing and life-long change. Daniel utilizes an integrative approach that includes: biopsychosocial treatment modalities, solution-focused and narrative therapies, family systems, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, somatic mindfulness and positive psychology, each through a trauma-informed and multicultural lens.

Rav is a recent Master of Counselling Psychology graduate and a counselling practicum student with OK Clinical Therapy Group. She is committed to supporting individuals and couples in their wellness journey. She honors the importance of creating trust and psychological safety through meaningful therapeutic conversations. Her naturally curious, warm and caring approach enables her to facilitate deep exploration and self-reflection evoking change, while also considering the influence of life experiences and cultural backgrounds.
Rav was born in the UK and immigrated to Canada in 2007 and is familiar with the challenges of moving to a new country and leaving loved ones behind. Rav is aware of the challenges all individuals and families face in maintaining work life balance. Having had her own ‘ups and downs’ in life she values the importance of having a support mechanism through counselling services. Rav believes everyone should have access to safe counselling and the opportunity to live a happy and fulfilled life.
As a graduate student of Master of Counselling Psychology, and a Certified Coach, Rav will draw on therapeutic approaches that include, CBT, Narrative Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, and Somatic Therapy. Rav is a firm believer that every individual has their own unique inner strengths to help move them forward in their life. Tami is a Registered Social Worker who has been working in the Okanagan in mental health-related positions since 2002 and is also currently a student completing her practicum in pursuit of a Master of Social Work degree through Dalhousie University. She has diverse experience with supporting people dealing with depression, learning to manage anxiety, experiencing crisis, as well as multiple other mental health concerns.
Tami believes in anti-oppressive, person-centered, strengths-based practice, and seeks to connect you with techniques and support that fit your unique situation. Tami understands the difficulty of finding the balance between caring for yourself as well as others. On a personal note, she is the parent of an adult child with Type 1 Diabetes, giving her a lived experience perspective with this condition, and a deep compassion for all people living with demanding chronic medical conditions and their loved ones.

Sarah is our Penticton Clinic Manager and recently made the move from Auckland, New Zealand to Penticton. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Psychology, Sarah has a keen interest in people, community, and culture. In her leisure time, Sarah enjoys literature and film. She believes these can be used as tools to advocate for mental health across a wide variety of platforms and can foster an inclusive culture around connecting with and understanding individuals from different paths of life. Previously from a financial administration role, Sarah has focused on building interpersonal skills and is a team player who always aims to foster positive discussions and to bring out the best in others. Her knowledge of sales etiquette and expertise in managing relationships is a great advantage in her role as Clinic Manager.

With years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Elaiza is excited to be part of a mission she believes in. Nathan is our Community Relations Manager and focuses on building better mental health accessibility in the community.. He is an Okanagan local born and raised. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Counselling in 2016, Nathan has spent his vocational years working with charities, not-for-profits, and school districts in Kelowna, focusing on community development and fundraising. In his previous roles in the community, Nathan has seen the impact that a public-focused mental health service can have. Because of this, he is incredibly excited to be a part of the team at OCCS and make our counselling services known and accessible to all who need them.
Nathan can connect individuals, corporate teams and community organizations to help support everyone’s counselling needs. If you have any questions about connecting with our clinic for partnerships, referral systems, or other community relations-related questions, Nathan will be happy to meet with you. As one of the clinic managers, Nathan will also be happy to assist with any administrative questions or help with online bookings. Kailey has worked as the Billing Supervisor at OK Clinical. She brings with her a love for problem-solving and numbers. She is a local to Kelowna, BC, and has years of experience in both administrative and client-based work. Prior to OK Clinical, Kailey worked closely with individuals from various walks of life and assisted them around the community. From there she decided to further her knowledge of administrative work and Completed the Business Program at Okanagan College and now serves our team remotely for all of the OK Clinical locations.
As our Billing Supervisor, Kailey is happy to assist clients with any invoicing needs as well as direct billing to insurance companies. She works closely with our counsellors to ensure all external invoicing is complete and accurate.
Outside of work, Kailey is a mother to her beautiful boy along with a very energetic Australian Shepherd named Goji (yes, like the berry!). Her family loves getting outside during the warm summer months to soak in the rays of the Okanagan but sticks to the indoors once the temperature drops, and enjoys cozy activities like board games, knitting, and reading.
Jane boasts an impressive 45 years in the bookkeeping industry and as an accountant. She started at IGA Head Office, then shifted to private accounting services. Upon moving to the Kootenays in 2014, she established a home-based bookkeeping business. Okanagan Clinical Counselling Services was one of her first clients.
Her skills in organization and problem-solving have been crucial in building and managing various provincial funding programs and providing subsidies to clients with financial barriers. Additionally, her passion for numbers has made her an invaluable asset to the OK Clinical team.
Aside from her professional achievements, Jane is a proud mother of three, grandmother of seven, and soon-to-be great-grandmother. Family is important to her and she takes pride in her role as a loving and supportive parent and grandparent.

Nicole earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Fremantle, Australia, in 2012. Nicole has established a social enterprise that fosters a supportive environment for counsellors to thrive while providing clients with access to funding and a safe, beautiful, and judgment-free space for counselling. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Certified Canadian Counsellor, she is skilled in working with complex trauma, PTSD and mental health concerns. Nicole is passionate about her work with children and families experiencing difficulties after divorce and separation. She helps families navigate healthy ways forward after experiencing traumatic or unwanted changes within their family unit. Nicole offers Hear the Child reports, for families and for court purposes where necessary. Within these reports, she interviews children to learn about their needs and desires during their parents difficult separation process.
Nicole has worked as a Traumatologist around the world in Asia, Africa and Australia, assisting individuals to overcome personal adversity and struggle with their difficult environments and mental health challenges. Nicole has worked with indigenous children living in remote parts of North-Western Australia. She has worked with children recovering from human trafficking in Kathmandu, Nepal. Nicole has worked extensively with PTSD and management of major stress, depression and anxiety. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR and mindfulness-based practices into her work.

Carly has worked as an office administrator for nearly 15 years and completed her Medical Office Assistant in 2016. Though she took a break from working in the medical field she has continuously worked on growing her skillset. Specifically in customer service, these skills make sure that her customers always have the best experience possible. This is done though positive relationships and continued support. She brings to the office a calm and collected approach with a positive everyday is a new day attitude.
Carly is a loving mother and ‘bonus’ mom. She has lived in the Okanagan for 6 years and has always been passionate about mental health and addiction work. Carly has volunteered in the streets of Vernon and Kelowna handing out supplies to the people in need and continues to always help where she can. She has worked with persons with disabilities and acquired brain injuries and has always been passionate about advocating for people’s rights.
Carly loves being outdoors in nature enjoying the beach, boat days, hikes, and soaking up the sun. During the colder days Carly enjoys a good bonfire, hiking with her family and two dogs, or snuggling up on the couch with a good book.
