Mary is a Master of Clinical Counselling student at City University in Canada, currently completing her practicum with OK Clinical Therapy Group. She offers counselling support for individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, and feeling “stuck.” Her goal is to create a steady, down-to-earth space where clients can sort through the challenges they’re facing and take practical steps toward feeling more grounded and confident.

Mary’s approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and person-centred. She believes meaningful change can happen when people feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. Mary is particularly passionate about supporting those who have trouble asking for help or who may be unsure if counselling is right for them.

She draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy while continuing to explore what best fits each client’s unique needs. Mary values creativity, adaptability, and ongoing learning, and she’s always willing to adjust her approach to support her clients’ growth and self-understanding.

Before entering the counselling field, Mary volunteered with her local hospice and victim services programs, where she learned the importance of presence, compassion, and listening deeply. Growing up in a farming family shaped her appreciation for hard work, responsibility, and caring for others. Outside of counselling, she enjoys reading, photography, and paddleboarding. Having been both an athlete and a musician, she brings discipline, creativity, and curiosity to her work with clients.

Kassidy is a Clinical Psychology Practicum Student currently completing her training as part of her graduate studies in clinical psychology. She practices from an Adlerian and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) lens and is committed to fostering a safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their challenges and strengths.

As a proud Métis woman, Kassidy values the importance of culture, identity, and community in the healing process. She brings this understanding into her work, offering a culturally sensitive approach that respects each client’s unique background and lived experience.

Her therapeutic work is grounded in the belief that people are capable of growth, change, and creating meaning in their lives. From an Adlerian perspective, she supports clients in exploring early life experiences, developing self-awareness, and cultivating a sense of purpose and belonging. Through CBT, she helps clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, build coping strategies, and work toward meaningful goals.

In addition to her aesthetics background, Nicky holds a diploma in Education Assistance, where she enhanced her skills and knowledge in special education, behaviour management, and communication strategies. Additionally, Nicky is working towards completing her health and life coach diploma.

With a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature, Nicky finds inspiration in the sun, the ocean, and all things natural. This passion allows her to infuse a sense of tranquility and positivity into the clinic. Therefore, individuals can find balance and achieve their goals through mental & health wellness. Nicky has over 10 years working in a spa environment. Because of this, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a keen eye for detail.

Director of Community Relations and Strategic Partnerships

Nathan Hayward is the Director of Community Relations and Strategic Partnerships at OK Clinical Therapy Group. He plays a central role in expanding access to mental health services through strategic partnerships, community engagement, and systems-level collaboration.

Born and raised in the Okanagan, Nathan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Counselling and supplementary certificates in leadership, community development, marketing and business. Nathan also brings over a decade of experience across human services, non-profits, school districts, and community-based organizations. His work is informed by a strong understanding of how organizational systems, accessibility, and relationships shape meaningful access to care.

In his role, Nathan develops and manages organizational and corporate partnerships, supports contract-based counselling programs, and collaborates closely with clinical and administrative leadership to ensure services are operationally sound, ethical, and sustainable. He also contributes to marketing and public-facing initiatives, helps design referral and intake pathways, and supports digital systems that improve client access and experience.

Known for his collaborative, solutions-focused approach, Nathan serves as a key point of connection for organizations, referral partners, and individuals seeking to engage with OK Clinical. He supports cross-team communication and problem-solving, helping bridge strategy, operations, and community impact.

Nathan is available Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and welcomes conversations around partnerships, referrals, and community initiatives.
