Colleen brings a wealth of experience, empathy, and skill to her work in the helping field. She has supported children, youth, adults and families for more than 20 years. This has been in many different community settings, with a focus on working with children and youth. Her commitment to being comprehensive and client-centered, along with her focus on relational, emotion-focused, and experiential aspects of therapy, reflects a dedication to creating meaningful connections and actively participating in the therapeutic journey. Therefore, Colleen’s approach to counseling reflects a deep commitment to providing personalized and empathetic support to individuals facing various challenges. Her training in various therapeutic modalities allows for versatility in adapting to the unique needs of her clients. Her collaborative approach underscores the importance of working together with clients. Additionally, she develops tailored treatment plans and goals, fostering a sense of empowerment and ownership in the therapeutic process.

Colleen’s specialization in addressing issues like anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, and life transitions demonstrates her comprehensive understanding of the complexities of the human experience. Moreover, her personal experience with ADHD, being neurodivergent herself and raising kids with the same, has helped her to develop great insight into how ADHD impacts individuals and families.
