February 17, 2026Rashmi is a compassionate and culturally responsive Registered Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals and families across hospital environments, mental health, refugee settlement, and community-based settings. She brings a grounded, client-centred approach to her work, offering psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, risk screening, and supportive counselling to people navigating life-limiting illness, displacement, trauma, and complex life transitions.
With a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University, Rashmi is committed to providing holistic care that honours each person’s unique story. She has extensive experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, delivering both in-person and virtual care, and helping clients navigate health and community systems with clarity and confidence.
Rashmi’s practice is rooted in an anti-oppressive, person-centred, and strength-based framework. Whether supporting a newcomer family through their first winter in Canada or sitting beside a palliative care patient in a hospital room, she believes that people need more than services—they need someone who listens, understands, and stands beside them. Her role is to hold space with compassion while helping clients find strength in their own resilience.
