Danielle is a practicum student at OK Clinical Therapy Group and is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP). Her experience as a nurse shaped her deep respect for the strength and complexity of the human experience. Particularly, during times of vulnerability and transition is where she felt it most. This background deeply informs her compassionate, grounded presence as a therapist.
Danielle works from a relationally focused psychodynamic lens and integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and somatic practices in her work. She is deeply curious about each person’s unique story and is guided by a person-centered, strengths-based approach. Moreover, Danielle believes that healing is an innate process and that the therapeutic relationship can support clients in reconnecting with their sense of agency, resilience, and belonging.
Danielle is practicing as an intern under the supervision of Mirrell Desjardins (CCC #100001749)
