It’s also important to consider the therapist’s experience and expertise in working with individuals with similar issues to yours. You can research their credentials online; it should be clear in their online biographies or ask them directly for their qualifications and experience.
Finally, it’s crucial to find a therapist that you feel comfortable with. Building trust and rapport with your therapist is essential to a successful therapy experience. You should feel comfortable discussing your feelings and experiences with them. If you don’t feel comfortable with a therapist, it’s okay to try another therapist until you find the right fit.
